Anand Mathew is an associate at Lyon Legal focusing on employment and labor claims in both State and Federal Court. Growing up in California, Anand learned the value of hard work at an early age. His mother worked 2-3 jobs to support their family after immigrating to the United States. The values he learned propelled him to earn his B.A. in Political Science from Hofstra University, MBA from the University of Phoenix, and J.D. from Trinity Law School. 

Prior to attending law school, Anand worked as a paralegal handling the defense of medical malpractice claims. He is also experienced in business operations and strategy as a former consultant and business owner.

During law school, Anand was certified and served as a mediator for the Orange County Superior Court. In addition, Anand was a law clerk focusing on labor and employment law. 

Anand brings his extensive experience to represent clients on the full range of their labor and employment needs. Anand understands that legal issues can be stressful and aims to quickly resolve his clients’ legal issues so they can return to their normal life.  

When he is not focusing on his clients, Anand enjoys spending time with his family attending basketball and football games, going to comedy shows, enjoying California’s many “foodie” options, and spending time at the beach or poolside.
